Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Todor Ilinov ("TI Apps", "we", "I") handles information in the mobile applications published under this developer account.

Information we do not collect

Our apps do not require you to create an account in order to use them. We do not collect your name, contacts, photos or any other personally identifying information. Audio processed by TV DSP Center never leaves your device. Fake Location reads your device's location, but only on the device itself — see the section on Fake Location below.

There is one exception, and it is optional: starting the free trial in TV DSP Center requires signing in with a Google account, which does record your email address. That is described in full under Free trial below. If you never start a trial, none of it applies to you.

Information collected automatically

The apps use the following third-party services, which may collect limited technical data:

• Google Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage statistics (screens viewed, session length, device model, country, app version). Used to understand how the apps are used and to improve them.
• Firebase Crashlytics — crash reports (device model, OS version, stack traces). Used to find and fix bugs.
• Google AdMob — serves advertisements. AdMob may use an advertising identifier to show relevant ads. See Google's Advertising Policy.
• Our own ads — advertisements that we run ourselves, shown by the apps next to or instead of AdMob ads. See Our own advertising.

This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. It is processed by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy.

Free trial (TV DSP Center)

TV DSP Center offers a seven-day free trial. Starting it is optional — the app works without it — but because the trial is tied to an account rather than to an installation, starting it requires you to sign in with Google. You are asked only when you choose to begin the trial.

When you do, the following is stored in our Firebase database:

• Your Google account's email address and the Firebase user ID it maps to — so the trial follows your account, and so that we can tell trials apart without reading a wall of anonymous identifiers.
• The date the trial started — to work out how many days remain.
• Your country — recorded once, to understand which regions the app is used in. For a trial started with the September 2026 version onwards, this is the country it was started from. For a trial that began before then, it is the country you were in the first time that version ran, since there was nothing recorded earlier to go on. Either way it is stored as a two-letter country code only, never a precise location, and it is not updated afterwards.
• A one-way hash of a device identifier — so the same device cannot start the trial over and over with different accounts. The raw identifier is never stored, and the hash is salted so it cannot be matched against any other app.

To determine the country, the app makes a single request to Cloudflare, which reports the country it sees for that connection. Like any server you connect to, Cloudflare sees your IP address as part of the request; we do not send it, and we do not receive or store it — only the resulting country code. If the request fails, no country is recorded and the app simply carries on. The request is made once, and not again after the country has been stored.

This information is used only to run the trial and to understand where the app is being used. It is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used to contact you. To have it deleted, see Data deletion.

Vocal Split beta application (website)

Vocal Split is a Windows app that is not released yet. On tiapps.dev/vocalsplit-beta.html you can apply to test it. Applying is optional, and nothing is collected unless you send the form.

When you send it, we receive what you entered: your email address, and — as far as you filled them in — your name or nickname, country, a link to your channel, venue or portfolio, what you do with audio and for how long, the tools and formats you work with, your answer about what you would test, basic facts about your computer (Windows version, memory, processor) and whether you have a TV for karaoke, plus whether you want to hear about the release. The time of sending is added.

• Where it is kept. In our Firebase Realtime Database (Google, hosted in the EU, europe-west1), readable only by the developer's own account. A copy is emailed to us through Web3Forms, the service our contact form already uses.
• What it is used for. Only to choose beta testers and to email them about the beta — and, if you ticked the box, to tell you when Vocal Split is released. It is never sold, never shared with advertisers and never used for anything else.
• How long. Until the beta programme is over, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If you asked to hear about the release, your address is kept until that email has been sent.
• Deletion. Email tvdspcenter@gmail.com from the address you applied with, with the subject Vocal Split beta data deletion. We will delete it and confirm within 30 days.

Purchases

TV DSP Center offers an optional one-time in-app purchase (Pro upgrade). Payments are processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your payment details.

Internet radio streams

World Radio streams stations provided by publicly available directories (such as the Radio Browser project). When you play a station, your device connects directly to that broadcaster's stream server, which may log standard connection data (such as your IP address) under the broadcaster's own privacy policy.

Permissions

• Audio settings / modify audio (TV DSP Center) — required to apply equalizer and DSP effects.
• Internet — required for radio streaming, ads and analytics.
• Foreground service / notifications (World Radio) — required for background playback and the alarm feature.

Fake Location

Fake Location lets you set a simulated GPS position on your own device for testing and privacy purposes.

Location data. The app reads your device's location so it can centre the map where you are and so the "Current GPS" button can pick up your real position. This location is used on the device only. It is never sent to us and never stored anywhere outside your phone.

Places you save. Names, addresses and coordinates you save are stored in a database inside the app's private storage on your device. They are not backed up to our servers and we have no access to them. You can delete any entry in the app, export them to a JSON file of your choosing, or remove them all by uninstalling the app.

Simulated location. While a simulated location is running, the app reports the coordinates you chose to Android as a mock position, so other apps on your device may read that position instead of your real one. This works only while you have selected Fake Location under Developer options, and only until you stop it. Nothing about this is transmitted to us.

Additional services used by this app:

• Google Maps SDK for Android — draws the map. Google receives the map area you are viewing in order to serve map tiles.
• Google Play services location — supplies the device position to the app.
• Android Geocoder — converts an address you type into coordinates, and coordinates into an address label. On devices with Google services these lookups are handled by Google.

Permissions: location (precise and approximate) to show where you are on the map; mock location to report the simulated position, which Android allows only after you select the app under Developer options; foreground service and notifications to keep the simulated location running and show an ongoing notification while it is active.

Our own advertising

Besides Google AdMob, the free versions of our apps may show advertisements that we run ourselves — at the moment for our own apps, and possibly for other advertisers later. They appear in the same place as the other banners. TV DSP Center shows no ads on Android TV and none to Pro users, and the “remove ads for an hour” option in World Radio hides these ads too.

How they work:

• What the app downloads. A small list of the current ads and their image, GIF, HTML5 or video files, from Google Firebase (Realtime Database and Storage, hosted in the EU, europe-west1) that we run for this purpose. As with any request to a server, Google receives your IP address and basic connection details. The app adds no account, email address, advertising ID or other identifier to these requests.
• What stays on your device. How many times each ad has been shown (so that we keep to the limit we set per hour or per day) and the downloaded list. The app also works out a country code from your mobile network, SIM card or device region setting, to choose ads for your country.
• What we measure. When one of these ads is shown or tapped, the app counts it. Every few minutes it sends those counts to our Firebase database as totals: the ad's number, the app, the day and a two-letter country code (or “unknown”). We use them to see how many times each ad was shown and tapped in each country. No account, email address, advertising ID or device identifier is sent with them, so they cannot be traced back to you; Google receives your IP address with the request, as with any request to a server, and we do not store or use it. The app also records the same events in Firebase Analytics, like the other usage statistics described above.
• When you tap an ad. It opens a web page or a Google Play listing. That page belongs to the advertiser or to Google and is covered by its own privacy policy; we receive no information about you from it.
• Consent and personalisation. These ads are not personalised and do not use your advertising ID, so they are shown whatever you chose in the consent form for AdMob.
• Safety. We review ads before they are shown. HTML5 ads run in a restricted browser component with no access to the app's data, your files or your device, and cannot open other pages on their own.

Advertising consent in Europe

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, our apps ask for your consent before showing personalised advertising, using Google's User Messaging Platform. You can choose to consent, to refuse, or to manage individual purposes.

You can change or withdraw that choice at any time from the privacy settings inside each app — the shield icon in Fake Location and World Radio, and the "Privacy settings" button in TV DSP Center. If you refuse, you will still see advertising, but it will not be personalised. Our own ads (see above) do not use your advertising ID and are shown in either case.

Children

Our apps are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Data deletion

This section covers the apps published by Todor Ilinov (TI Apps): TV DSP Center — Equalizer, World Radio and Fake Location.

Analytics and crash data are anonymous and cannot be linked back to you. Uninstalling an app stops all data collection. You can also reset your advertising ID in your device's Google settings at any time.

The free trial record in TV DSP Center is the one thing that does not disappear when you uninstall, because it is what stops a used trial from starting again. You can ask us to delete it.

How to request deletion. Send an email to tvdspcenter@gmail.com with the subject Data deletion, from the Google account you signed in with. Nothing else is needed — that address is what identifies your record. We will delete it and reply to confirm within 30 days.

What is deleted. Your entire trial record: your email address, your account identifier, the date the trial started, and the country code recorded for it. Your sign-in record is removed along with it.

What is kept, and why. One item remains: the one-way hash of a device identifier described under Free trial. It holds nothing about you personally — it cannot be reversed, it is not linked to your email or your account once they are gone, and it records only that a free trial has already been used on that device. Without it, deleting the record would simply hand out another free trial, which is the one thing it exists to prevent. It is retained for as long as the app remains published.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
